43-13:6†††† Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

43-13:8†††† Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

43-13:9†††† Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

43-13:24††† Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.

43-13:36††† Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

43-13:37††† Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.

43-18:10††† Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priestís servant, and cut off his right ear. The servantís name was Malchus.

43-18:11††† Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

43-18:15††† And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.

43-18:16††† But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.

43-18:17††† Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this manís disciples? He saith, I am not.

43-18:25††† And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not.

43-18:26††† One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him?

43-18:27††† Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.

43-20:2†††† Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.

43-20:3†††† Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.

43-20:4†††† So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.

43-20:6†††† Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,

43-21:2†††† There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

43-21:3†††† Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

43-21:7†††† Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisherís coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

43-21:11††† Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

43-21:15††† So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

43-21:17††† He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

43-21:20††† Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?

43-21:21††† Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

44-1:15†††† And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

44-2:14†††† But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

44-2:37†††† Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

44-2:38†††† Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

44-3:1††††† Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

44-3:3††††† Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

44-3:4††††† And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

44-3:6††††† Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

44-3:11†††† And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomonís, greatly wondering.

44-3:12†††† And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

44-4:8††††† Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

44-4:13†††† Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

44-4:19†††† But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

44-5:3††††† But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

44-5:8††††† And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

44-5:9††††† Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

44-5:15†††† Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.

44-5:29†††† Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

44-8:14†††† Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

44-8:20†††† But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

44-9:32†††† And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.

44-9:34†††† And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.

44-9:38†††† And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.

44-9:39†††† Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.

44-9:40†††† But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

44-10:5†††† And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:

44-10:9†††† On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:

44-10:13††† And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.

44-10:14††† But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

44-10:17††† Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simonís house, and stood before the gate,

44-10:18††† And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.

44-10:19††† While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

44-10:21††† Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?

44-10:23††† Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

44-10:25††† And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.

44-10:26††† But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

44-10:32††† Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.

44-10:34††† Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

44-10:44††† While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

44-10:45††† And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

44-10:46††† For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

44-11:2†††† And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

44-11:4†††† But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

44-11:7†††† And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

44-11:13††† And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;

44-12:3†††† And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

44-12:5†††† Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

44-12:6†††† And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.

44-12:7†††† And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

44-12:11††† And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.

44-12:13††† And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.

44-12:14††† And when she knew Peterís voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.

44-12:16††† But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.

44-12:18††† Now as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers, what was become of Peter.

44-15:7†††† And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

48-Galatians

48-1:18†††† Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

48-2:7††††† But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;

48-2:8††††† (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)

48-2:11†††† But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.

48-2:14†††† But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
