01-41:28††† This is the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh.
01-41:34††† Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.

01-44:7†††† And they said unto him, Wherefore saith my lord these words? God forbid that thy servants should do according to this thing:
01-44:17††† And he said, God forbid that I should do so: but the man in whose hand the cup is found, he shall be my servant; and as for you, get you up in peace unto your father.
01-45:17††† And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Say unto thy brethren, This do ye; lade your beasts, and go, get you unto the land of Canaan;

02-3:20†††† And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.
02-4:15†††† And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.
02-4:17†††† And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.
02-4:21†††† And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.
02-5:4††††† And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do ye, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.
02-5:17†††† But he said, Ye are idle, ye are idle: therefore ye say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the LORD.
02-6:1††††† Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.
02-8:8††††† Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.
02-8:26†††† And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?
02-9:5††††† And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.
02-15:26††† And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
02-17:2†††† Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD?
02-17:4†††† And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
02-18:16††† When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.
02-18:20††† And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.
02-18:23††† If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.
02-19:8†††† And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.
02-20:9†††† Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
02-20:10††† But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
02-21:7†††† And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
02-21:11††† And if he do not these three unto her, then shall she go out free without money.
02-22:30††† Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.
02-23:2†††† Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
02-23:12††† Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.
02-23:22††† But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.
02-23:24††† Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.
02-24:3†††† And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.
02-24:7†††† And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
02-24:14††† And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.
02-29:1†††† And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priestís office: Take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish,
02-29:35††† And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all things which I have commanded thee: seven days shalt thou consecrate them.
02-29:41††† And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
02-31:11††† And the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.
02-32:14††† And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
02-32:18††† And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
02-33:5†††† For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.
02-33:17††† And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
02-34:10††† And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
02-34:15††† Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice;
02-35:1†††† And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.
02-35:19††† The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priestís office.
02-35:35††† Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.
02-36:2†††† And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:
02-39:1†††† And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.
02-39:41††† The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sonsí garments, to minister in the priestís office.
03-4:2††††† Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
03-4:3††††† If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
03-4:20†††† And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.
03-5:1††††† And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
03-5:4††††† Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.
03-8:34†††† As he hath done this day, so the LORD hath commanded to do, to make an atonement for you.
03-9:6††††† And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.
03-10:9†††† Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:
03-16:15††† Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
03-16:16††† And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.
03-16:29††† And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:
03-18:3†††† After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.
03-18:4†††† Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.
03-18:5†††† Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.
03-18:25††† And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
03-19:15††† Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.
03-19:29††† Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.
03-19:35††† Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
03-19:37††† Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.
03-20:4†††† And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:
03-20:8†††† And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.
03-20:22††† Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
03-21:6†††† They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
03-21:15††† Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.
03-21:23††† Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
03-22:9†††† They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.
03-22:16††† Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
03-22:31††† Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.
03-23:3†††† Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
03-23:7†††† In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-23:8†††† But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-23:21††† And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
03-23:25††† Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
03-23:28††† And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.
03-23:31††† Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
03-23:35††† On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-23:36††† Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
03-25:18††† Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
03-25:45††† Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.
03-26:3†††† If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
03-26:14††† But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;
03-26:15††† And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:
03-26:16††† I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
03-27:11††† And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest:
04-2:5††††† And those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar.
04-3:7††††† And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.
04-3:8††††† And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
04-4:3††††† From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-4:19†††† But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
04-4:23†††† From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-4:30†††† From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-4:37†††† These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
04-4:41†††† These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.
04-4:47†††† From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,
04-5:6††††† Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;
04-6:21†††† This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed, and of his offering unto the LORD for his separation, beside that that his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of his separation.
04-7:5††††† Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.
04-8:7††††† And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.
04-8:15†††† And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.
04-8:19†††† And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.
04-8:22†††† And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.
04-8:26†††† But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.
04-9:14†††† And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
04-10:29††† And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Mosesí father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.
04-10:32††† And it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.
04-11:27††† And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.
04-14:28††† Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:
04-14:35††† I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.
04-14:41††† And Moses said, Wherefore now do ye transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper.
04-15:12††† According to the number that ye shall prepare, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.
04-15:13††† All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
04-15:14††† And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as ye do, so he shall do.
04-15:20††† Ye shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshingfloor, so shall ye heave it.
04-15:39††† And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring:
04-15:40††† That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
04-16:6†††† This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;
04-16:9†††† Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?
04-16:28††† And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.
04-18:6†††† And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
04-18:23††† But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.
04-21:34††† And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.
04-22:17††† For I will promote thee unto very great honour, and I will do whatsoever thou sayest unto me: come therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people.
04-22:18††† And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or more.
04-22:20††† And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.
04-22:30††† And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.
04-23:19††† God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
04-23:26††† But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that the LORD speaketh, that I must do?
04-24:13††† If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak?
04-24:14††† And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.
04-24:18††† And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.
04-28:18††† In the first day shall be an holy convocation; ye shall do no manner of servile work therein:
04-28:25††† And on the seventh day ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.
04-28:26††† Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye bring a new meat offering unto the LORD, after your weeks be out, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:
04-29:1†††† And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets unto you.
04-29:7†††† And ye shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work therein:
04-29:12††† And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days:
04-29:35††† On the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein:
04-29:39††† These things ye shall do unto the LORD in your set feasts, beside your vows, and your freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your meat offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for your peace offerings.
04-30:2†††† If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
04-31:19††† And do ye abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day.
04-32:20††† And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to war,
04-32:23††† But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.
04-32:24††† Build you cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which hath proceeded out of your mouth.
04-32:25††† And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spake unto Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord commandeth.
04-33:56††† Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
05-1:14†††† And ye answered me, and said, The thing which thou hast spoken is good for us to do.
05-1:18†††† And I commanded you at that time all the things which ye should do.
05-1:44†††† And the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.
05-3:2††††† And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.
05-3:21†††† And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.
05-3:24†††† O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?
05-4:1††††† Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.
05-4:5††††† Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to possess it.
05-4:6††††† Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.
05-4:14†††† And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it.
05-4:25†††† When thou shalt beget children, and childrenís children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:
05-5:1††††† And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them.
05-5:13†††† Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
05-5:14†††† But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
05-5:27†††† Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear it, and do it.
05-5:31†††† But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.
05-5:32†††† Ye shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.
05-6:1††††† Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it:
05-6:3††††† Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
05-6:18†††† And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers,
05-6:24†††† And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
05-6:25†††† And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.
05-7:11†††† Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.
05-7:12†††† Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:
05-7:19†††† The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid.
05-8:1††††† All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.
05-8:16†††† Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;
05-8:19†††† And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
05-11:22††† For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;
05-11:32††† And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.
05-12:1†††† These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.
05-12:4†††† Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.
05-12:8†††† Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
05-12:14††† But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.
05-12:25††† Thou shalt not eat it; that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.
05-12:30††† Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
05-12:31††† Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
05-12:32††† What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
05-13:11††† And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.
05-13:18††† When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God.
05-15:5†††† Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.
05-15:17††† Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.
05-15:19††† All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.
05-16:8†††† Six days thou shalt eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work therein.
05-16:12††† And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt: and thou shalt observe and do these statutes.
05-17:10††† And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the LORD shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:
05-17:11††† According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left.
05-17:12††† And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.
05-17:13††† And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.
05-17:19††† And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them:
05-18:7†††† Then he shall minister in the name of the LORD his God, as all his brethren the Levites do, which stand there before the LORD.
05-18:9†††† When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
05-18:12††† For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
05-18:14††† For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so to do.
05-19:9†††† If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:
05-19:19††† Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.
05-20:3†††† And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;
05-20:15††† Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.
05-20:18††† That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the LORD your God.
05-21:9†††† So shalt thou put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.
05-22:3†††† In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brotherís, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.
05-22:5†††† The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a womanís garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
05-22:26††† But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:
05-24:8†††† Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.
05-24:18††† But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
05-24:22††† And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
05-25:16††† For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.
05-26:16††† This day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
05-27:10††† Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
05-27:26††† Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
05-28:1†††† And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
05-28:13††† And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
05-28:15††† But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
05-28:20††† The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.
05-28:58††† If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;
05-28:63††† And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.
05-29:9†††† Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.
05-29:14††† Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
05-29:29††† The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
05-30:5†††† And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.
05-30:8†††† And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.
05-30:12††† It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
05-30:13††† Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
05-30:14††† But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
05-31:4†††† And the LORD shall do unto them as he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the land of them, whom he destroyed.
05-31:5†††† And the LORD shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which I have commanded you.
05-31:12††† Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:
05-31:29††† For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
05-32:6†††† Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee?
05-32:46††† And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.
05-34:11††† In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
06-1:2††††† Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
06-1:7††††† Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
06-1:8††††† This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
06-1:16†††† And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go.
06-2:24†††† And they said unto Joshua, Truly the LORD hath delivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.
06-3:5††††† And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you.
06-6:3††††† And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.
06-7:9††††† For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto thy great name?
06-8:2††††† And thou shalt do to Ai and her king as thou didst unto Jericho and her king: only the spoil thereof, and the cattle thereof, shall ye take for a prey unto yourselves: lay thee an ambush for the city behind it.
06-8:8††††† And it shall be, when ye have taken the city, that ye shall set the city on fire: according to the commandment of the LORD shall ye do. See, I have commanded you.
06-9:20†††† This we will do to them; we will even let them live, lest wrath be upon us, because of the oath which we sware unto them.
06-9:25†††† And now, behold, we are in thine hand: as it seemeth good and right unto thee to do unto us, do.
06-10:25††† And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.
06-22:5†††† But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
06-22:24††† And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel?
06-22:27††† But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us, that we might do the service of the LORD before him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no part in the LORD.
06-23:6†††† Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left;
06-23:12††† Else if ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you:
06-24:13††† And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.
06-24:20††† If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.
07-6:27†††† Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as the LORD had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his fatherís household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.
07-7:17†††† And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.
07-8:3††††† God hath delivered into your hands the princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb: and what was I able to do in comparison of you? Then their anger was abated toward him, when he had said that.
07-9:33†††† And it shall be, that in the morning, as soon as the sun is up, thou shalt rise early, and set upon the city: and, behold, when he and the people that is with him come out against thee, then mayest thou do to them as thou shalt find occasion.
07-9:48†††† And Abimelech gat him up to mount Zalmon, he and all the people that were with him; and Abimelech took an ax in his hand, and cut down a bough from the trees, and took it, and laid it on his shoulder, and said unto the people that were with him, What ye have seen me do, make haste, and do as I have done.
07-10:15††† And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.
07-11:10††† And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, The LORD be witness between us, if we do not so according to thy words.
07-11:12††† And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land?
07-11:36††† And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.
07-13:8†††† Then Manoah intreated the LORD, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.
07-13:12††† And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him?
07-13:17††† And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?
07-14:10††† So his father went down unto the woman: and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do.
07-15:3†††† And Samson said concerning them, Now shall I be more blameless than the Philistines, though I do them a displeasure.
07-15:10††† And the men of Judah said, Why are ye come up against us? And they answered, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he hath done to us.
07-17:13††† Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.
07-18:14††† Then answered the five men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do ye know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? now therefore consider what ye have to do.
07-18:18††† And these went into Micahís house, and fetched the carved image, the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image. Then said the priest unto them, What do ye?
07-19:23††† And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.
07-19:24††† Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.
07-20:9†††† But now this shall be the thing which we will do to Gibeah; we will go up by lot against it;
07-20:10††† And we will take ten men of an hundred throughout all the tribes of Israel, and an hundred of a thousand, and a thousand out of ten thousand, to fetch victual for the people, that they may do, when they come to Gibeah of Benjamin, according to all the folly that they have wrought in Israel.
07-21:7†††† How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of our daughters to wives?
07-21:11††† And this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man.
07-21:16††† Then the elders of the congregation said, How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing the women are destroyed out of Benjamin?
08-1:17†††† Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
08-2:9††††† Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reap, and go thou after them: have I not charged the young men that they shall not touch thee? and when thou art athirst, go unto the vessels, and drink of that which the young men have drawn.
08-3:4††††† And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do.
08-3:5††††† And she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do.
08-3:11†††† And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.
08-3:13†††† Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsmanís part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning.
08-4:11†††† And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:
09-1:23†††† And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him.
09-2:23†††† And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people.
09-2:35†††† And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.
09-3:11†††† And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.
09-3:17†††† And he said, What is the thing that the LORD hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee.
09-3:18†††† And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the LORD: let him do what seemeth him good.
09-5:8††††† They sent therefore and gathered all the lords of the Philistines unto them, and said, What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel? And they answered, Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried about unto Gath. And they carried the ark of the God of Israel about thither.
09-6:2††††† And the Philistines called for the priests and the diviners, saying, What shall we do to the ark of the LORD? tell us wherewith we shall send it to his place.
09-6:6††††† Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? when he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?
09-7:3††††† And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
09-8:8††††† According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.
09-10:2†††† When thou art departed from me to day, then thou shalt find two men by Rachelís sepulchre in the border of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say unto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seek are found: and, lo, thy father hath left the care of the asses, and sorroweth for you, saying, What shall I do for my son?
09-10:7†††† And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.
09-10:8†††† And thou shalt go down before me to Gilgal; and, behold, I will come down unto thee, to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace offerings: seven days shalt thou tarry, till I come to thee, and shew thee what thou shalt do.
09-11:10††† Therefore the men of Jabesh said, To morrow we will come out unto you, and ye shall do with us all that seemeth good unto you.
09-12:16††† Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.
09-12:25††† But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king.
09-14:7†††† And his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is in thine heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart.
09-14:36††† And Saul said, Let us go down after the Philistines by night, and spoil them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatsoever seemeth good unto thee. Then said the priest, Let us draw near hither unto God.
09-14:40††† Then said he unto all Israel, Be ye on one side, and I and Jonathan my son will be on the other side. And the people said unto Saul, Do what seemeth good unto thee.
09-14:44††† And Saul answered, God do so and more also: for thou shalt surely die, Jonathan.
09-16:3†††† And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.
09-20:2†††† And he said unto him, God forbid; thou shalt not die: behold, my father will do nothing either great or small, but that he will shew it me: and why should my father hide this thing from me? it is not so.
09-20:4†††† Then said Jonathan unto David, Whatsoever thy soul desireth, I will even do it for thee.
09-20:13††† The LORD do so and much more to Jonathan: but if it please my father to do thee evil, then I will shew it thee, and send thee away, that thou mayest go in peace: and the LORD be with thee, as he hath been with my father.
09-20:30††† Then Saulís anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said unto him, Thou son of the perverse rebellious woman, do not I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to thine own confusion, and unto the confusion of thy motherís nakedness?
09-22:3†††† And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me.
09-24:4†††† And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saulís robe privily.
09-24:6†††† And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORDíS anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD.
09-25:17††† Now therefore know and consider what thou wilt do; for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household: for he is such a son of Belial, that a man cannot speak to him.
09-25:22††† So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.
09-26:21††† Then said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do thee harm, because my soul was precious in thine eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.
09-26:25††† Then Saul said to David, Blessed be thou, my son David: thou shalt both do great things, and also shalt still prevail. So David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place.
09-28:2†††† And David said to Achish, Surely thou shalt know what thy servant can do. And Achish said to David, Therefore will I make thee keeper of mine head for ever.
09-28:15††† And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
09-29:3†††† Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?
09-30:23††† Then said David, Ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which the LORD hath given us, who hath preserved us, and delivered the company that came against us into our hand.
10-3:8††††† Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, Am I a dogís head, which against Judah do shew kindness this day unto the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou chargest me to day with a fault concerning this woman?
10-3:9††††† So do God to Abner, and more also, except, as the LORD hath sworn to David, even so I do to him;
10-3:18†††† Now then do it: for the LORD hath spoken of David, saying, By the hand of my servant David I will save my people Israel out of the hand of the Philistines, and out of the hand of all their enemies.
10-3:35†††† And when all the people came to cause David to eat meat while it was yet day, David sware, saying, So do God to me, and more also, if I taste bread, or ought else, till the sun be down.
10-7:3††††† And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the LORD is with thee.
10-7:23†††† And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?
10-7:25†††† And now, O LORD God, the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, establish it for ever, and do as thou hast said.
10-9:11†††† Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the kingís sons.
10-10:12††† Be of good courage, and let us play the men for our people, and for the cities of our God: and the LORD do that which seemeth him good.
10-11:11††† And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.
10-12:9†††† Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.
10-12:12††† For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.
10-13:2†††† And Amnon was so vexed, that he fell sick for his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin; and Amnon thought it hard for him to do any thing to her.
10-13:12††† And she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do not thou this folly.
10-15:4†††† Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice!
10-15:5†††† And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.
10-15:15††† And the kingís servants said unto the king, Behold, thy servants are ready to do whatsoever my lord the king shall appoint.

10-16:11††† And David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, Behold, my son, which came forth of my bowels, seeketh my life: how much more now may this Benjamite do it? let him alone, and let him curse; for the LORD hath bidden him.
10-16:20††† Then said Absalom to Ahithophel, Give counsel among you what we shall do.
10-17:6†††† And when Hushai was come to Absalom, Absalom spake unto him, saying, Ahithophel hath spoken after this manner: shall we do after his saying? if not; speak thou.

10-19:22††† And David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel?
10-19:27††† And he hath slandered thy servant unto my lord the king; but my lord the king is as an angel of God: do therefore what is good in thine eyes.
10-19:37††† Let thy servant, I pray thee, turn back again, that I may die in mine own city, and be buried by the grave of my father and of my mother. But behold thy servant Chimham; let him go over with my lord the king; and do to him what shall seem good unto thee.
10-19:38††† And the king answered, Chimham shall go over with me, and I will do to him that which shall seem good unto thee: and whatsoever thou shalt require of me, that will I do for thee.

10-21:4†††† And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you.
10-23:17††† And he said, Be it far from me, O LORD, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men.
10-24:12††† Go and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.
11-1:30†††† Even as I sware unto thee by the LORD God of Israel, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne in my stead; even so will I certainly do this day.
11-2:6††††† Do therefore according to thy wisdom, and let not his hoar head go down to the grave in peace.
11-2:9††††† Now therefore hold him not guiltless: for thou art a wise man, and knowest what thou oughtest to do unto him; but his hoar head bring thou down to the grave with blood.

11-8:32†††† Then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
11-8:39†††† Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)
11-8:43†††† Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name.
11-9:1††††† And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the LORD, and the kingís house, and all Solomonís desire which he was pleased to do,
11-9:4††††† And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:
11-10:9†††† Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.
11-11:12††† Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy fatherís sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.
11-11:33††† Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.
11-11:38††† And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.
11-12:6†††† And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people?

11-14:8†††† And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;

11-20:9†††† Wherefore he said unto the messengers of Benhadad, Tell my lord the king, All that thou didst send for to thy servant at the first I will do: but this thing I may not do. And the messengers departed, and brought him word again.
11-20:10††† And Benhadad sent unto him, and said, The gods do so unto me, and more also, if the dust of Samaria shall suffice for handfuls for all the people that follow me.

12-5:13†††† And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

12-7:9††††† Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the kingís household.
12-8:12†††† And Hazael said, Why weepeth my lord? And he answered, Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel: their strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword, and wilt dash their children, and rip up their women with child.

12-10:5†††† And he that was over the house, and he that was over the city, the elders also, and the bringers up of the children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any king: do thou that which is good in thine eyes.
12-10:19††† Now therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall not live. But Jehu did it in subtilty, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.
12-11:5†††† And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the kingís house;
12-17:12††† For they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.
12-17:15††† And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them.
12-17:17††† And they caused their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire, and used divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
12-17:34††† Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not the LORD, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;
12-17:36††† But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice.
12-17:37††† And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods.
12-17:41††† So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their childrenís children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.
12-18:12††† Because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded, and would not hear them, nor do them.
12-19:31††† For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
12-20:9†††† And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
12-21:8†††† Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
12-21:9†††† But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.
12-22:9†††† And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Thy servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of them that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD.
12-22:13††† Go ye, enquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.
13-11:19††† And said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest.
13-12:32††† And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.
13-13:4†††† And all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.
13-16:21††† He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,
13-16:22††† Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
13-16:40††† To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel;
13-17:2†††† Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thine heart; for God is with thee.
13-17:23††† Therefore now, LORD, let the thing that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as thou hast said.
13-19:13††† Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the LORD do that which is good in his sight.
13-21:8†††† And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech thee, do away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.
13-21:10††† Go and tell David, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things: choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.
13-21:23††† And Ornan said unto David, Take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give thee the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meat offering; I give it all.
13-28:7†††† Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day.
13-28:10††† Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.
13-28:20††† And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
13-29:19††† And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.
14-6:23†††† Then hear thou from heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, by requiting the wicked, by recompensing his way upon his own head; and by justifying the righteous, by giving him according to his righteousness.
14-6:33†††† Then hear thou from the heavens, even from thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for; that all people of the earth may know thy name, and fear thee, as doth thy people Israel, and may know that this house which I have built is called by thy name.
14-7:17†††† And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments;
14-9:8††††† Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, to be king for the LORD thy God: because thy God loved Israel, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee king over them, to do judgment and justice.
14-14:4†††† And commanded Judah to seek the LORD God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment.
14-18:21††† And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the LORD said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do even so.
14-19:6†††† And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.
14-19:7†††† Wherefore now let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
14-19:9†††† And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.
14-19:10††† And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.
14-20:12††† O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.
14-22:3†††† He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counsellor to do wickedly.
14-23:4†††† This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you entering on the sabbath, of the priests and of the Levites, shall be porters of the doors;
14-25:8†††† But if thou wilt go, do it, be strong for the battle: God shall make thee fall before the enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down.
14-25:9†††† And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give thee much more than this.
14-30:12††† Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the LORD.
14-32:10††† Thus saith Sennacherib king of Assyria, Whereon do ye trust, that ye abide in the siege in Jerusalem?
14-33:8†††† Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.
14-33:9†††† So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.
14-34:16††† And Shaphan carried the book to the king, and brought the king word back again, saying, All that was committed to thy servants, they do it.
14-34:21††† Go, enquire of the LORD for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the LORD, to do after all that is written in this book.
14-35:6†††† So kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren, that they may do according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
14-35:21††† But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy thee not.
15-4:2††††† Then they came to Zerubbabel, and to the chief of the fathers, and said unto them, Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye do; and we do sacrifice unto him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assur, which brought us up hither.
15-4:3††††† But Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build an house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us.
15-4:22†††† Take heed now that ye fail not to do this: why should damage grow to the hurt of the kings?
15-6:8††††† Moreover I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the kingís goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered.
15-7:10†††† For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.
15-7:18†††† And whatsoever shall seem good to thee, and to thy brethren, to do with the rest of the silver and the gold, that do after the will of your God.
15-7:21†††† And I, even I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers which are beyond the river, that whatsoever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of you, it be done speedily,
15-7:26†††† And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.
15-10:4†††† Arise; for this matter belongeth unto thee: we also will be with thee: be of good courage, and do it.
15-10:5†††† Then arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word. And they sware.
15-10:11††† Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives.
15-10:12††† Then all the congregation answered and said with a loud voice, As thou hast said, so must we do.
16-1:9††††† But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.
16-2:12†††† And I arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither was there any beast with me, save the beast that I rode upon.
16-2:19†††† But when Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arabian, heard it, they laughed us to scorn, and despised us, and said, What is this thing that ye do? will ye rebel against the king?
16-4:2††††† And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, What do these feeble Jews? will they fortify themselves? will they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the stones out of the heaps of the rubbish which are burned?
16-5:9††††† Also I said, It is not good that ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?
16-5:12†††† Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise.
16-6:2††††† That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.
16-6:13†††† Therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me.
16-9:24†††† So the children went in and possessed the land, and thou subduedst before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gavest them into their hands, with their kings, and the people of the land, that they might do with them as they would.
16-9:29†††† And testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law: yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear.
16-10:29††† They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in Godís law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;
16-13:17††† Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?
16-13:21††† Then I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again, I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath.
16-13:27††† Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives?
17-1:8††††† And the drinking was according to the law; none did compel: for so the king had appointed to all the officers of his house, that they should do according to every manís pleasure.
17-1:15†††† What shall we do unto the queen Vashti according to law, because she hath not performed the commandment of the king Ahasuerus by the chamberlains?
17-3:11†††† And the king said unto Haman, The silver is given to thee, the people also, to do with them as it seemeth good to thee.
17-4:11†††† All the kingís servants, and the people of the kingís provinces, do know, that whosoever, whether man or woman, shall come unto the king into the inner court, who is not called, there is one law of his to put him to death, except such to whom the king shall hold out the golden sceptre, that he may live: but I have not been called to come in unto the king these thirty days.
17-5:5††††† Then the king said, Cause Haman to make haste, that he may do as Esther hath said. So the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.
17-5:8††††† If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said.
17-6:6††††† So Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honour more than to myself?
17-6:10†††† Then the king said to Haman, Make haste, and take the apparel and the horse, as thou hast said, and do even so to Mordecai the Jew, that sitteth at the kingís gate: let nothing fail of all that thou hast spoken.
17-7:5††††† Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?
17-9:13†††† Then said Esther, If it please the king, let it be granted to the Jews which are in Shushan to do to morrow also according unto this dayís decree, and let Hamanís ten sons be hanged upon the gallows.
17-9:23†††† And the Jews undertook to do as they had begun, and as Mordecai had written unto them;
18-6:4††††† For the arrows of the Almighty are within me, the poison whereof drinketh up my spirit: the terrors of God do set themselves in array against me.
18-6:26†††† Do ye imagine to reprove words, and the speeches of one that is desperate, which are as wind?
18-7:20†††† I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am a burden to myself?
18-9:13†††† If God will not withdraw his anger, the proud helpers do stoop under him.
18-10:2†††† I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; shew me wherefore thou contendest with me.
18-11:8†††† It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?
18-13:2†††† What ye know, the same do I know also: I am not inferior unto you.
18-13:9†††† Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him?
18-13:10††† He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
18-13:14††† Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?
18-13:20††† Only do not two things unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.
18-15:3†††† Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good?
18-15:12††† Why doth thine heart carry thee away? and what do thy eyes wink at,
18-16:4†††† I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soulís stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake mine head at you.
18-17:10††† But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.
18-19:22††† Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?
18-20:2†††† Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste.
18-21:7†††† Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power?
18-21:29††† Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens,
18-22:17††† Which said unto God, Depart from us: and what can the Almighty do for them?
18-24:1†††† Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?
18-31:14††† What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him?
18-32:9†††† Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
18-34:10††† Therefore hearken unto me, ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
18-34:12††† Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
18-34:32††† That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.
18-36:28††† Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
18-37:12††† And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
18-37:24††† Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
18-39:1†††† Knowest thou the time when the wild goats of the rock bring forth? or canst thou mark when the hinds do calve?
18-41:8†††† Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
18-42:2†††† I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.
19-2:1††††† Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
19-7:1††††† O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
19-11:3†††† If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
19-12:2†††† They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
19-16:1†††† Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
19-25:1†††† Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
19-25:5†††† Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
19-31:1†††† In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
19-34:10††† The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.
19-34:14††† Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
19-34:16††† The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
19-36:3†††† The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
19-37:3†††† Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
19-37:8†††† Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
19-37:27††† Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
19-38:15††† For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.
19-40:8†††† I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
19-41:7†††† All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
19-50:16††† But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
19-51:18††† Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19-56:4†††† In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
19-56:11††† In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
19-58:1†††† Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
19-60:12††† Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
19-64:4†††† That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
19-71:1†††† In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
19-75:1†††† Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
19-80:12††† Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?
19-82:3†††† Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
19-83:9†††† Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
19-86:4†††† Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
19-89:50††† Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;
19-92:7†††† When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
19-95:10††† Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
19-103:18†† To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
19-103:20†† Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
19-103:21†† Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.
19-104:20†† Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
19-105:14†† He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
19-105:15†† Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
19-107:23†† They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
19-108:13†† Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
19-109:21†† But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy nameís sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me.
19-111:10†† The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
19-118:6††† The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
19-119:3††† They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
19-119:21†† Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.
19-119:35†† Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
19-119:83†† For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.
19-119:109† My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.
19-119:113† SAMECH. I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.
19-119:132† Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.
19-119:141† I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.
19-119:153† RESH. Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.
19-119:157† Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.
19-119:163† I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.
19-119:164† Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
19-119:176† I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
19-125:4††† Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.
19-129:8††† Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.
19-130:5††† I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
19-131:1††† LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
19-137:6††† If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.
19-139:21†† Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
19-143:8††† Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
19-143:10†† Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
20-2:14†††† Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
20-3:27†††† Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
20-6:3††††† Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend.
20-6:30†††† Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;
20-8:13†††† The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
20-10:23††† It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.
20-14:22††† Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.
20-17:7†††† Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.
20-19:7†††† All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him.
20-19:19††† A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.
20-20:30††† The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.
20-21:3†††† To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
20-21:7†††† The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgment.
20-21:15††† It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
20-24:8†††† He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a mischievous person.
20-24:29††† Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work.
20-25:8†††† Go not forth hastily to strive, lest thou know not what to do in the end thereof, when thy neighbour hath put thee to shame.
20-28:12††† When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.
20-31:12††† She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
21-2:3††††† I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom; and to lay hold on folly, till I might see what was that good for the sons of men, which they should do under the heaven all the days of their life.
21-2:11†††† Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.
21-2:12†††† And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been already done.
21-3:12†††† I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
21-4:8††††† There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail.
21-5:1††††† Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
21-6:6††††† Yea, though he live a thousand years twice told, yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place?
21-8:11†††† Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
21-8:12†††† Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:
21-9:10†††† Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
21-10:10††† If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.
21-11:5†††† As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
22-1:3††††† Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.
22-8:8††††† We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?
23-1:16†††† Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
23-1:17†††† Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
23-5:5††††† And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:
23-9:13†††† For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.
23-10:3†††† And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?
23-10:11††† Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?
23-14:21††† Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.
23-19:15††† Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.
23-19:21††† And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.
23-23:4†††† Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken, even the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men, nor bring up virgins.
23-24:4†††† The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
23-24:7†††† The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.
23-24:18††† And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
23-27:3†††† I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
23-28:21††† For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
23-29:13††† Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
23-29:14††† Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
23-37:32††† For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
23-38:7†††† And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken;
23-38:19††† The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.
23-41:23††† Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together.
23-42:9†††† Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
23-42:16††† And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.
23-43:19††† Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
23-45:7†††† I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
23-46:10††† Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
23-46:11††† Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
23-48:11††† For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.
23-48:14††† All ye, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them hath declared these things? The LORD hath loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
23-55:2†††† Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
23-56:1†††† Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
23-57:4†††† Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
23-58:4†††† Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.
23-64:6†††† But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
23-65:8†††† Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servantsí sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
24-2:8††††† The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
24-2:18†††† And now what hast thou to do in the way of Egypt, to drink the waters of Sihor? or what hast thou to do in the way of Assyria, to drink the waters of the river?
24-4:22†††† For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
24-4:30†††† And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.
24-5:28†††† They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.
24-5:31†††† The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
24-7:10†††† And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?
24-7:14†††† Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.
24-7:17†††† Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
24-7:19†††† Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?
24-8:8††††† How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.
24-8:14†††† Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for the LORD our God hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
24-9:7††††† Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?
24-10:5†††† They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
24-11:4†††† Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:
24-11:6†††† Then the LORD said unto me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them.
24-11:8†††† Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not.
24-11:15††† What hath my beloved to do in mine house, seeing she hath wrought lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from thee? when thou doest evil, then thou rejoicest.
24-12:5†††† If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?
24-13:12††† Therefore thou shalt speak unto them this word; Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Every bottle shall be filled with wine: and they shall say unto thee, Do we not certainly know that every bottle shall be filled with wine?
24-13:23††† Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.
24-14:7†††† O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy nameís sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.
24-14:21††† Do not abhor us, for thy nameís sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.
24-17:22††† Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do ye any work, but hallow ye the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.
24-17:24††† And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;
24-18:6†††† O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potterís hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
24-18:8†††† If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
24-18:10††† If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.
24-18:12††† And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.
24-19:12††† Thus will I do unto this place, saith the LORD, and to the inhabitants thereof, and even make this city as Tophet:
24-22:3†††† Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.
24-22:4†††† For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
24-22:15††† Shalt thou reign, because thou closest thyself in cedar? did not thy father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?
24-22:17††† But thine eyes and thine heart are not but for thy covetousness, and for to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.
24-23:24††† Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
24-23:32††† Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.
24-25:6†††† And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.
24-26:3†††† If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.
24-26:14††† As for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as seemeth good and meet unto you.
24-28:6†††† Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORDíS house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.
24-29:32††† Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall he behold the good that I will do for my people, saith the LORD; because he hath taught rebellion against the LORD.
24-30:6†††† Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
24-31:20††† Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.
24-32:23††† And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they have done nothing of all that thou commandedst them to do: therefore thou hast caused all this evil to come upon them:
24-32:35††† And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
24-32:40††† And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
24-32:41††† Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.
24-33:9†††† And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
24-33:18††† Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
24-36:3†††† It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.
24-38:5†††† Then Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in your hand: for the king is not he that can do any thing against you.
24-39:12††† Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm; but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee.
24-40:16††† But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said unto Johanan the son of Kareah, Thou shalt not do this thing: for thou speakest falsely of Ishmael.
24-42:2†††† And said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech thee, our supplication be accepted before thee, and pray for us unto the LORD thy God, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a few of many, as thine eyes do behold us:)
24-42:3†††† That the LORD thy God may shew us the way wherein we may walk, and the thing that we may do.
24-42:5†††† Then they said to Jeremiah, The LORD be a true and faithful witness between us, if we do not even according to all things for the which the LORD thy God shall send thee to us.
24-42:20††† For ye dissembled in your hearts, when ye sent me unto the LORD your God, saying, Pray for us unto the LORD our God; and according unto all that the LORD our God shall say, so declare unto us, and we will do it.
24-44:4†††† Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.
24-44:17††† But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.
24-50:15††† Shout against her round about: she hath given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it is the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her.
24-50:21††† Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, saith the LORD, and do according to all that I have commanded thee.
24-50:29††† Call together the archers against Babylon: all ye that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she hath done, do unto her: for she hath been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel.
24-51:47††† Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.
24-51:52††† Wherefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will do judgment upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded shall groan.
24-51:55††† Because the LORD hath spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered:
25-1:4††††† The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.
25-1:22†††† Let all their wickedness come before thee; and do unto them, as thou hast done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.
25-2:11†††† Mine eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city.
26-2:4††††† For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
26-5:9††††† And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.
26-6:10†††† And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
26-7:27†††† The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-8:6††††† He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.
26-8:9††††† And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
26-8:12†††† Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.
26-8:13†††† He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
26-11:20††† That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
26-15:3†††† Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?
26-16:5†††† None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the loathing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.
26-18:5†††† But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,
26-18:21††† But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
26-20:11††† And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them.
26-20:13††† But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.
26-20:19††† I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;
26-20:21††† Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
26-21:24††† Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.
26-22:14††† Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.
26-23:30††† I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols.
26-23:48††† Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.
26-24:14††† I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.
26-24:22††† And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.
26-24:24††† Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
26-25:8†††† Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;
26-25:14††† And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.
26-33:9†††† Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
26-33:14††† Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
26-33:19††† But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.
26-33:31††† And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.
26-33:32††† And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.
26-34:2†††† Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
26-35:11††† Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
26-35:15††† As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
26-36:11††† And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
26-36:22††† Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy nameís sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
26-36:27††† And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
26-36:32††† Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.
26-36:36††† Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
26-36:37††† Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
26-37:24††† And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
26-37:28††† And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
26-39:17††† And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
26-43:11††† And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
26-44:13††† And they shall not come near unto me, to do the office of a priest unto me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, in the most holy place: but they shall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed.
26-45:20††† And so thou shalt do the seventh day of the month for every one that erreth, and for him that is simple: so shall ye reconcile the house.
26-45:25††† In the seventh month, in the fifteenth day of the month, shall he do the like in the feast of the seven days, according to the sin offering, according to the burnt offering, and according to the meat offering, and according to the oil.
27-3:14†††† Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
27-4:26†††† And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; thy kingdom shall be sure unto thee, after that thou shalt have known that the heavens do rule.
27-9:18†††† O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
27-9:19†††† O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.
27-11:3†††† And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.
27-11:16††† But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.
27-11:17††† He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.
27-11:24††† He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathersí fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.
27-11:27††† And both these kingsí hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.
27-11:28††† Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.
27-11:30††† For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.
27-11:32††† And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
27-11:36††† And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
27-11:39††† Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
27-12:10††† Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
28-4:18†††† Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give ye.
28-6:4††††† O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
28-7:10†††† And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.
28-7:15†††† Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.
28-9:5††††† What will ye do in the solemn day, and in the day of the feast of the LORD?
28-10:3†††† For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us?
28-10:15††† So shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.
28-12:1†††† Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is carried into Egypt.
28-14:8†††† Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
29-1:18†††† How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.
29-2:21†††† Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
29-2:22†††† Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
29-3:4††††† Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;
30-3:7††††† Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
30-3:10†††† For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.
30-4:12†††† Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
32-1:11†††† Then said they unto him, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us? for the sea wrought, and was tempestuous.
32-3:10†††† And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
32-4:9††††† And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.
33-2:3††††† Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
33-2:7††††† O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
33-2:11†††† If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.
33-6:8††††† He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
33-7:3††††† That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
34-1:9††††† What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
36-1:12†††† And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.
36-3:5††††† The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.
36-3:13†††† The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
37-2:3††††† Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?
37-2:12†††† If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.
38-1:5††††† Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever?
38-1:6††††† But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.
38-1:21†††† Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
38-5:10†††† Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?
38-8:15†††† So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
38-8:16†††† These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
38-9:12†††† Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee;
38-12:7†††† The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
39-1:10†††† Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
39-2:2††††† If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
39-2:10†††† Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
39-4:1††††† For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
39-4:3††††† And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
40-5:6††††† Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
40-5:15†††† Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
40-5:19†††† Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
40-5:44†††† But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
40-5:46†††† For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
40-5:47†††† And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
40-6:1††††† Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
40-6:2††††† Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
40-6:7††††† But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
40-6:20†††† But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
40-6:26†††† Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
40-6:28†††† And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
40-6:32†††† (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
40-7:12†††† Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
40-7:16†††† Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
40-8:9††††† For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
40-8:29†††† And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
40-9:14†††† Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?
40-9:17†††† Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
40-9:28†††† And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
40-11:3†††† And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?
40-11:4†††† Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
40-12:2†††† But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
40-12:12††† How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
40-12:27††† And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
40-12:50††† For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
40-13:13††† Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
40-13:41††† The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
40-14:2†††† And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
40-15:2†††† Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
40-15:3†††† But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
40-15:9†††† But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
40-15:17††† Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
40-16:9†††† Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
40-16:11††† How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
40-16:13††† When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
40-17:25††† He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
40-18:10††† Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
40-18:35††† So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
40-19:16††† And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
40-19:18††† He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
40-20:13††† But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?
40-20:15††† Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
40-20:32††† And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?
40-21:21††† Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
40-21:24††† And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
40-21:27††† And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
40-21:40††† When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
40-22:29††† Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
40-23:3†††† All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
40-23:5†††† But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
40-26:72††† And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.
40-27:19††† When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.
40-27:22††† Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.
41-1:24†††† Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.
41-1:27†††† And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
41-2:18†††† And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but thy disciples fast not?
41-2:24†††† And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
41-3:4††††† And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
41-3:35†††† For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
41-5:7††††† And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.
41-6:5††††† And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
41-6:14†††† And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.
41-7:7††††† Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
41-7:8††††† For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
41-7:12†††† And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;
41-7:13†††† Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
41-7:18†††† And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
41-8:18†††† Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
41-8:21†††† And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?
41-8:27†††† And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?
41-9:22†††† And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
41-9:39†††† But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
41-10:17††† And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
41-10:19††† Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.
41-10:35††† And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.
41-10:36††† And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?
41-10:51††† And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
41-11:3†††† And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
41-11:5†††† And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?
41-11:26††† But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
41-11:28††† And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
41-11:29††† And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
41-11:33††† And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
41-12:9†††† What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.
41-12:24††† And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?
41-12:27††† He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.
41-13:11††† But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
41-14:7†††† For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.
41-15:8†††† And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.
41-15:12††† And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews?
42-2:27†††† And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,
42-3:10†††† And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?
42-3:11†††† He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
42-3:12†††† Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do?
42-3:14†††† And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.
42-4:23†††† And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.
42-4:34†††† Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
42-5:30†††† But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
42-5:33†††† And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?
42-6:2††††† And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?
42-6:9††††† Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?
42-6:11†††† And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.
42-6:27†††† But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
42-6:31†††† And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
42-6:33†††† And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
42-6:35†††† But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
42-6:44†††† For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.
42-6:46†††† And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
42-7:4††††† And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:
42-7:8††††† For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
42-8:21†††† And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.
42-8:28†††† When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
42-10:11††† Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
42-10:25††† And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
42-10:28††† And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
42-10:37††† And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
42-11:19††† And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.
42-11:39††† And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.
42-12:4†††† And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
42-12:17††† And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
42-12:18††† And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
42-12:26††† If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
42-12:30††† For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
42-12:56††† Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
42-13:32††† And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.
42-15:29††† And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
42-16:3†††† Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
42-16:4†††† I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
42-17:10††† So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
42-18:18††† And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
42-18:20††† Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
42-18:41††† Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
42-19:31††† And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
42-19:48††† And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
42-20:8†††† And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.
42-20:13††† Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him.
42-20:15††† So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?
42-22:19††† And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
42-22:23††† And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
42-23:31††† For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?
42-23:34††† Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
42-24:38††† And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
43-2:4††††† Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
43-2:5††††† His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
43-3:2††††† The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
43-3:11†††† Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
43-4:34†††† Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
43-5:19†††† Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
43-5:30†††† I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
43-5:36†††† But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
43-5:45†††† Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
43-6:6††††† And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.
43-6:28†††† Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
43-6:38†††† For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
43-7:4††††† For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.
43-7:17†††† If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
43-7:26†††† But, lo, he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing unto him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is the very Christ?
43-7:31†††† And many of the people believed on him, and said, When Christ cometh, will he do more miracles than these which this man hath done?
43-8:11†††† She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
43-8:28†††† Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
43-8:29†††† And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
43-8:38†††† I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
43-8:39†††† They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abrahamís children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
43-8:41†††† Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
43-8:43†††† Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
43-8:44†††† Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
43-8:46†††† Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
43-8:49†††† Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
43-9:15†††† Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
43-9:16†††† Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.
43-9:33†††† If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.
43-10:25††† Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Fatherís name, they bear witness of me.
43-10:32††† Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
43-10:37††† If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
43-10:38††† But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
43-11:12††† Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
43-11:47††† Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
43-13:7†††† Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.
43-13:15††† For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
43-13:17††† If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
43-13:27††† And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
43-14:12††† Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
43-14:13††† And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
43-14:14††† If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
43-14:31††† But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
43-15:5†††† I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
43-15:14††† Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
43-15:21††† But all these things will they do unto you for my nameís sake, because they know not him that sent me.
43-16:3†††† And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.
43-16:19††† Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
43-16:31††† Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
43-17:4†††† I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
43-21:21††† Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
44-1:1††††† The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
44-2:11†††† Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
44-2:37†††† Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
44-4:16†††† Saying, What shall we do to these men? for that indeed a notable miracle hath been done by them is manifest to all them that dwell in Jerusalem; and we cannot deny it.
44-4:28†††† For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.
44-5:35†††† And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men.
44-7:26†††† And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?
44-7:51†††† Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
44-9:6††††† And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
44-10:6†††† He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.
44-14:15††† And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
44-15:29††† That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
44-15:36††† And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.
44-16:20††† And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,
44-16:28††† But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.
44-16:30††† And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
44-16:37††† But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.
44-17:7†††† Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus.
44-19:36††† Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken against, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.
44-21:23††† Do therefore this that we say to thee: We have four men which have a vow on them;
44-22:10††† And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.
44-23:21††† But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.
44-24:10††† Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
44-24:16††† And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
44-25:9†††† But Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?
44-26:9†††† I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
44-26:20††† But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
45-1:28†††† And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
45-1:32†††† Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
45-2:3††††† And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
45-2:8††††† But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
45-2:14†††† For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
45-3:8††††† And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
45-3:31†††† Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
45-7:15†††† For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
45-7:16†††† If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
45-7:17†††† Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
45-7:19†††† For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
45-7:20†††† Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
45-7:21†††† I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
45-8:3††††† For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
45-8:5††††† For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
45-8:13†††† For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
45-8:25†††† But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
45-12:8†††† Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
45-12:15††† Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
45-13:3†††† For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
45-13:4†††† For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
45-15:31††† That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judaea; and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
46-5:12†††† For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
46-6:2††††† Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
46-6:7††††† Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
46-6:8††††† Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.
46-7:36†††† But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.
46-9:3††††† Mine answer to them that do examine me is this,
46-9:13†††† Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar?
46-9:17†††† For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
46-9:23†††† And this I do for the gospelís sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
46-9:25†††† And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
46-10:22††† Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?
46-10:31††† Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
46-11:24††† And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
46-11:25††† After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
46-11:26††† For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lordís death till he come.
46-12:30††† Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
46-15:29††† Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?
46-15:35††† But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
46-16:1†††† Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
46-16:5†††† Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.
46-16:10††† Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
47-1:17†††† When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
47-3:1††††† Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
47-5:4††††† For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
47-7:8††††† For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
47-8:1††††† Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;
47-8:10†††† And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.
47-8:23†††† Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.
47-10:3†††† For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
47-10:7†††† Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christís, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christís, even so are we Christís.
47-11:8†††† I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.
47-11:12††† But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
47-12:19††† Again, think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.
47-13:7†††† Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.
47-13:8†††† For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
48-1:10†††† For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
48-2:10†††† Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
48-2:14†††† But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
48-2:21†††† I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
48-3:10†††† For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
48-4:21†††† Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
48-5:3††††† For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
48-5:11†††† And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
48-5:17†††† For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
48-5:21†††† Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
48-6:10†††† As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
49-3:20†††† Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
49-6:9††††† And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
49-6:21†††† But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things:
50-1:18†††† What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
50-2:13†††† For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
50-2:14†††† Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
50-2:18†††† For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.
50-3:8††††† Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
50-3:13†††† Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
50-4:9††††† Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
50-4:13†††† I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
51-1:9††††† For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
51-3:13†††† Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
51-3:17†††† And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
51-3:23†††† And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
52-3:12†††† And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
52-4:10†††† And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
52-4:11†††† And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
52-5:6††††† Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
52-5:11†††† Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
52-5:24†††† Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
53-3:4††††† And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
54-1:4††††† Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
54-6:2††††† And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
54-6:18†††† That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
55-2:23†††† But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
55-3:8††††† Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
55-4:5††††† But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
55-4:9††††† Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:
55-4:21†††† Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.
57-1:14†††† But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.
57-1:19†††† I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.
57-1:21†††† Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.
58-3:10†††† Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
58-4:3††††† For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
58-4:13†††† Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
58-6:3††††† And this will we do, if God permit.
58-6:10†††† For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
58-6:11†††† And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
58-10:7†††† Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
58-10:9†††† Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
58-11:3†††† Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
58-11:29††† By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
58-13:6†††† So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
58-13:16††† But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
58-13:17††† Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
58-13:19††† But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.
58-13:21††† Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
59-1:16†††† Do not err, my beloved brethren.
59-2:6††††† But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
59-2:7††††† Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
59-2:8††††† If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
59-2:11†††† For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
59-2:12†††† So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
59-4:5††††† Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
59-4:15†††† For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
59-4:17†††† Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
59-5:19†††† Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
60-1:21†††† Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
60-2:14†††† Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
60-2:20†††† For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
60-3:6††††† Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
60-3:11†††† Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
60-3:12†††† For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
60-4:11†††† If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
61-1:10†††† Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
61-1:19†††† We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
61-3:16†††† As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
62-1:6††††† If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
62-2:3††††† And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
62-3:22†††† And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
62-4:14†††† And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
62-5:16†††† If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
64-1:6††††† Which have borne witness of thy charity before the church: whom if thou bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, thou shalt do well:
66-2:5††††† Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
66-3:9††††† Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
66-3:18†††† I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
66-9:19†††† For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
66-13:14††† And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
66-14:13††† And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
66-19:10††† And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
66-21:24††† And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
66-22:9†††† Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
66-22:14††† Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
