of his friends.
11-16:12††† Thus did
Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake
against Baasha by Jehu the prophet,
11-16:13††† For all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, by which they sinned, and by
which they made Israel to sin, in provoking the LORD God of Israel to anger
with their vanities.
11-21:22††† And will
make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the
house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith
thou hast provoked me to anger, and
made Israel to sin.
12-9:9††††† And I will
make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like
the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:
14-16:1†††† In the
six and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa Baasha king of Israel came up against
Judah, and built Ramah, to the intent that he might let none go out or come in
to Asa king of Judah.
14-16:3†††† There is a league between me and thee,
as there was between my father and
thy father: behold, I have sent thee silver and gold; go, break thy league with
king of Israel, that he may depart from me.
14-16:5†††† And it
came to pass, when Baasha heard it, that
he left off building of Ramah, and let his work cease.
14-16:6†††† Then Asa
the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the
timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and
24-41:9†††† Now the pit wherein Ishmael had cast all the dead
bodies of the men, whom he had slain
because of Gedaliah, was it which Asa
the king had made for fear of Baasha king of Israel: and Ishmael
the son of Nethaniah filled it with them that were slain.
21-10:11††† Surely the
serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better.††††††††††
44-17:18††† Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and
of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some
said, What will this babbler say?
other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth
of strange gods: because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection.
20-23:29††† Who hath
woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath
redness of eyes?
Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so
55-2:16†††† But shun
profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
02-2:6††††† And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion
on him, and said, This is one of the
42-1:41†††† And it came
to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and
Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
42-1:44†††† For, lo,
as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
42-2:12†††† And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find
the babe wrapped
in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
42-2:16†††† And they
came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
58-5:13†††† For every
one that useth milk is unskilful in
the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
01-10:10††† And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and
Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
01-11:9†††† Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there
confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter
them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
19-8:2††††† Out of
the mouth of babes and
sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest
still the enemy and the avenger.
19-17:14††† From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of
the world, which have their portion
in this life, and whose belly thou
fillest with thy hid treasure: they
are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
23-3:4††††† And I
will give children to be their
princes, and babes shall
rule over them.
40-11:25††† At that time
Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth,
because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed
them unto babes.
40-21:16††† And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say?
And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast
42-10:21††† In that
hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven
and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and

45-2:20†††† An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.
46-3:1††††† And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto

60-2:2††††† As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may
